Re: Dynamical Systems and Expansion-Contraction

Righto (right-o, righ-to as they say in the UK), I should explain that
I am doing the Nonconformist thing and giving my list of references
before the rest of my postings in this thread, rather than giving them
during or after the rest of my postings. This is not the end of my
postings in this thread but the beginning, God willing (oh, oh, I said
the G-word :>)

So now that I have explained this, I don't want sci.physics "readers"
to think that the purpose of this thread is to make Lady C_____ the
*** of my jokes (did I say that right?).

What I propose to do is to refer to papers by authors and years during
the remainder of this thread, as for example Rylov (2005). If there is
more than one author, as with Costin, I'll type Costin (2002) for
example. This will save us all time later hopefully. If not, you
could try contacting some of the authors to rewrite their papers :>)

Now that you have the idea, hopefully, I should give a few years if
anybody is curious.

Uggla et al (2003)
Smoller et al (2003)
Santini et al (2005) (7 April actually!)
Pinheiro (2005) (21 Mar actually!)
Morales (2003)
Marcolli (2003)
Nikolic (2005) (this is c with a left accent on top, which I think is
"ch" or if not "ts")
Luzzatto et al (2003)
Luzzatto (2004)
Katzourakis (2005) (15 April actually!)
Iovane (2003)
Iovane et al (2004)
Hruska (2004)
Gouezel (2004)
Fannjiang et al (2004)
Davis (1996) (oop! Where's that Berkeley spirit :>)
Brout et al (1995) (oops! Where's that Belgian spirit :>)
Berkes et al (2005 (24 Mar actually!)
Aguilar et al (2005) (29 Mar actually!)

Does this remind anybody of 1-2-3-4 V-I-E-T-N-A-M by mathematics
Professor Tom Lehrer, only backwards? It was a catchy tune. Some
friends tell me Tom got it from somebody else who first made it
popular. I think that I prefer George M. Cohan's "I'm a Yankee Doodle
Dandy" most of the time, though. George and Jimmy Cagney - now there's
a Yankee :>)
