Re: Late and Early Time Decelerations and PI

Aha! I think that I've solved the Japanese mystery and the Finn
mystery.

Misao Sasaki of Osaka U., and to a much much lesser if any extent
Takahiro Tanaka also of Osaka U., are into of all things Gauss-Bonnet
applications in cosmology, including the applications of Gauss-Bonnet
to dark energy, Einstein Gauss-Bonnet Gravity including holography,
linearized gravity on the de Sitter brane in Einstein Gauss-Bonnet
theory, Newton's law on an Einstein Gauss-Bonnet brane. An even
bigger interest of Sasaki's papers (all on arXiv) is brane worlds
including the de Sitter brane especially. 25 total papers are listed
for Misao Sasaki on arXiv, almost all on either Gauss-Bonnet or brane
worlds.

Finn is at Penn State U and seems to be an experimental physicist and
astrophysicist rather remarkably like Thorne except as far as I know
for wormholes.

I may try the Slavic references next.
