Luis O. Pimental of the Mexican university U. Autonoma Metropolitana
shouldn't be counted out, of course. Luis has 13 papers listed in
arXiv, though 2005 seems to have been a bad year all around for some of
these people (well, I couldn't call it exactly the Beginning of the
Renaissance either!) which go back to the "Ancient Times" of 1995. I
can't yet find any consistent pattern in Pimental's papers, but
sometimes these codes take years to break :>)
Quantum cosmology runs through it mostly (not a river but a discrete
collection of etceteras :>)
and scalar-tensor theories. I notice Brans-Dicke cosmology and in the
latest paper "noncommutative", which is fine as long as Luis isn't
planning to get allied with Alain Connes and move to France and thence
to Saudi Arabia or Iran.
Pimental's and Cesar Mora's (UPIBI-Instituto Politecnico Nacional,
Mexico) "Noncommutative quantum cosmology," arXiv:gr-qc/0408100 v1 31
Aug 2004 is a short 5 page paper whose purpose defeats me unless it is
to use the Wheeler-DeWitt equation which is done on the second page of
the paper, or constructing wormhole type solutions (ditto second page).
This reminds me (wormholes) that the Diaz-Rivera et al 2004 paper also
referenced Thorne of CalTech wormhole fame in a 2000 paper with A. Ori,
and there's an A. Ori and L. Barack series of papers whose relationship
to U. Florida and Mexico remain to be figured out. Quick, onto the
internet. I may be onto something :>)
