E=mc^2

I'd like to explain "E=mc^2" to a person which does not know anything
about physics, so I did some calculations; can somebody confirm if they
are correct?

E = m*c^2
c = 3*10^8 m/s
m = 10^-2 Kg (the cap of a pen...)

E = 10^-2 * (3*10^8)^2 = 9*10^14 [J]

[J] = [W]*[s] = 3600 [W]*[h] = 86400 [W]*[day]

9*10^14 / 86400 ~= 9*10^14 / 9*10^4 = 10^10 = 10.000.000.000 days

i.e., the energy held by a pen cap would light a 100W lamp for
10.000.000.000 days? Is it right?
