yet i can gues that you could say it much more concisely:

things are not fully undestood th emostthat was doner until now is some
mathematical model! that somehow works
but as long you dont realy understand it to 'scratch'you cannot go with
it
'all laong' of some point of your wway , you are stoped.

we dont have a powerful enough microscope to se into the living cell
th emost we can see is say th esize of a microb
that can lead you to some acheivements
but
nless you have a tool that will 'zoom you' until the gens level
you cant do waht modern medical scince is starting to do right at our
time

iow th emedical research could do much wider advance than modern
physics
because it could 'zoom in' much better
i hope you got the idea which is not only an idea but a messege
a moral to learn
you can t be satisfied with some partial acheivements
based of partial knowlwdge.
not to mention a situation in which there are too many 'open questions'
revealed each day!!
not to mensin nonsense like knowing 10 percent of the mass
and 'filling it in' by 90 percent of 'gluons'
to say 'gluons' is exactly as to say we know nothing about it !!
