If your light cone doesn't include the rest of the
universe doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

What you see when you look out into the universe is
ancient history. Other things are going on out there right now.
Now is everywhere because time never stops anywhere.
Time continues out there. So there are events outside
a light cone that is smaller than the universe!
