India was the richest country in the world and called the
'golden bird' under the Gupta Hindu Kings around 300 AD.
Muslims , Britis all arrived . Even Columbus was seeking a
route to India and misnamed native Americans as 'indians'.
Harappa is the oldest civilization in the world , even older
than the pyramids and had sanitation and toliets .
By 1700 Hindus too had aquired guns and recaptured most of
India , but the Brits after the industrial revolution arrived and
defeated them .
Now India is a space power and will send rockets to the moon
in 2 years .
Yeah, based on existing technology, pioneered by the Russians and Americans.
And the scientists and engineers were probably educated in the USA.
Says quite a bit about Indian culture now, huh?
Bad, US scientists were educated and imported from Europe: Einstein, Fermi,
the whole atomic lot, Von Braun was German, Radar was invented by the English
come to think of it US only invented NTSC (but not TV)), Never Twice Same
Color, is way behind with digital TV, did chose the wrong system, cannot make
a shuttle fly, needs help from Russia to get people to the INTERNATIONAL space
station, cannot fire an anti missile missile, has a larger deficit then
anybody else, an idiot as president, is a police state, has the worst software
manufacturer in the world (in Redmond), did not win in Formula 1 races last
week, and worst of all, has Uncle Al.
Yep, bash'em.
But still for the worst software company they pull quite a
bit of cash in. And the US really refined the business way
of letting others pay for their achievements while at the
same time getting all the benefits.
