Yes. Thomson claims his model can predict other stuff not known
in QM. In fact, it can power ships like the concept of lift,
only in this case, it's not the air involved but some kind
of aether lift.
Here's the passage in his web site:
"The Hutchison effect pertaining to levitating objects is
essentially due to the ability of microwaves, and negative
ions being focused over a physical object. By substantially
increasing the electrostatic charge of the Aether above an
object, the electrostatic charge associated with the Aether
will cause an attractive force with all the electron in the
atoms of the object and cause it to levitate.
The key to succeeding in levitating an object is to
understand the physical structure of the Aether. The Aether
has two electrostatic charges, one positive and one negative.
Ordinarily the quantum Aether units will be positioned in
such a way as to neutralize to net zero charge. However, if
the environment is bombarded with high potential electrostatic
charge, the Aether units will align themselves such that the
opposite charge of the Aether will be attracted to the high
potential electrostatic source."

Look. I'm a hard data man too. In fact. I need hard data
to get serious at any model. There are dozens out there
and if I have to get serious with any. I'd waste too much
time. That's why I need solid proof too just like you.
So Thomson, ready to build us a new generation of flying
machines... :)
Is funding all that is stopping you from doing all the
experiments? But Hutchinson didn't use million dollars
equipments.. just some microwave emitters and stuff and
luck. You must try to calculate the exact frequencies
involved and the right configuration for the effects
to occur.
