What about the ideal which the succeeding generations followed until
the Acts of Parliament were established in the 1600s in the "U.K."?
Well, what about it? From the 1200s A.D. until the 1600s A.D. is quite
a long time. What took so long was not "coming to realize a Global
ideal" but examining how each and every Individual related to the
actions of each and every Individual in the Magna Carta. To err is
human, but to correct errors takes a long time and involves very many
discriminations and integrations and responsibilities in general and
the operation of Ethics in each Individual. We say that to forgive is
Divine, but we also have to each know what it is to forgive and what to
forgive and what forgiving and not forgiving means - Right vs Wrong and
all that.

Knowledge and Ethics are about (Probable) Causation. If there is a
Spirit, and I certainly hope so, then (Probable) Causation will most
likely be involved there too.
