I am somewhat familiar with fractal dimension. I don't see any
connection with the polysigned system though.
Another troubling thing is the ability to turn many dimensions into
angular dimensions. So for example (x,y,z) can be (r,theta,phi) without
conflict.
The angular dimensions have tremendous redundancy yet do not cause any
conflict. Could we argue that the redundancy allows the angular
dimensions to carry more information? So that an angle of 10.23
rotations has some difference in meaning from one of 1.23 rotations. I
think that there is an ability to squeeze a little more information out
of them. They are in effect yielding natural values atop the continuous
range that we traditionally take as their meaning. So, relative to the
cartesian counterpart, the spherical coordinate system has two
additional natural dimensions. I am not a magician so I am feeling
pretty convinced that this is true. But perhaps you can bring in a
conflict with the use of real numbers for angular measure.
