I had a hallucination??

Like many of us, I was lying in a dark and quiet bed
mediating on planetary motion to burn up some excess
mental energy to get to sleep, when very suddenly a very
loud noise sounded into my left ear together with a flash
of light.
I was sober so I figured I had stroke or something and
so bye-bye to Ken, no big deal, however it wasn't that.
The sound was so loud it jerked me to adrenalin because
it was so loud and scary. It sounded like a zipper being
pulled really fast, but I can't say how long it lasted.
The flash was of much shorter duration than a flash bulb.
Naturally I figured I had some sort of internally generated
psychosis event, but then I got to thinking...
What if a cosmic ray smacked me in the skull and
converted my brain into a sort of bubble chamber
when it decayed, affecting neurons etc by doing
that.
We know cosmic rays smack into the atmosphere
all the time, and indeed we need to go deep under-
ground to shield them for neutrino observations, so
we know they can produce high energy at ground
level.
Ok, so there is a probability of a cosmic ray dis-
integrating within the human skull and producing
charged particles within the brain that could produce
neuronic stimulation, and shock as I described.
In the past, I had infrequent minor events like that
that I assigned to the minor psychosis from the id,
(aka subconscious), that all people have from time
to time have without really knowing why.
1) If anyone else can describe this elusive phenomena
please do so.
2) If anyone can quantify the biophysics of that event
please do so.
3) I for (1) would be very interested in hearing from
others about this possible phenomena,
please do so.

Ken S. Tucker
PS: What excites me is the possiblity of the experience
of a particle decay within the human mind that may actually
be experienced in sensory way. My thinking is to subject
volunteers to particle beam bombardment into their brains
to confirm this effect...no joke it could be confirmed at
safe levels, subject to minimizing health risks and maxing
the sense of the phenomena.
PSS: The 1960's had LSD (chemical), maybe the 2000's
will uprate to nuclear (atomic) highs.
