The content of the article is obviously bogus
but Burkhard Heim was and Jochem Haeuser is a real
person.

There is a wiki page on Heim:

which has 'neutrality' question flags on it.

Then there is this article:
http://www.hpcc-space.de/publications/documents/aiaa2004-3700-a4.pdf
which has the trappings of legitimacy but seems
bogus too. Which then calls into question the seriousness
of the "American Institute for Aeronautics and Astronautics".

I'd never heard of Heim before.
Sounds like he was actually a crackpot.
Anybody else know anything?
