Time changed because the clocks showed it did.
It is a circular bunch of crap that has no physical cause
and has not helped find out anything in "physics" except money for
the morons that keep ignoring the clock malfunction problem to
support the theory that does not find any causes of anything.

The cause is simple and ignored by morons like you.
The clocks can malfunction.
time did not change rate, the clocks goofed up.
and Brainwashed IS what you are, if you can not
gather that simple fact about the clocks.
