I'm not being angry. I'm making it known to you that I'm not some
white collar guy who goes to his vacation house in Mexico to relax.

You do realise, don't you, that coal mining nowadays consists of
more than just guys picking away with hand tools? There are massive
machines down there, with lots of moving parts. The noise/signal ratio
would be horrendous. And as has been pointed out, the big problem
usually is getting to stuck miners. The location of a mine disaster is
not typically a big mystery. It's just a big mess.
