*You* think that physics is about the "why". That is
your *opinion* and is not fact. Ask any practicing
physicist and he'll tell you that physics is about the
*how*, not the *why*. If you insist on forcing your
definitions on things, then you are bound to forever
be disappointed.

If you want to know "why", ask a philosopher. There is
no final reduction of anything that you can point to and
say "that is why". You can always ask "why is it that
way", no matter how far down the path you go. Eventually
all roads must lead to a philosophic answer, not a physical
one.

No. That's your desired definition of physics. It's
unfortunate that the reality doesn't match your
