Actually I said it to be specific... It is rather obvious
that a 'void', by definition, is 'devoid' of everything.

What is measurably not the case? That space is not a void.
If so, I agree... Physical space in our universe without
the medium and its physical properties is unthinkable.
That is not a 'philosophical assertion' it is an observable
fact.
