Sam,
I have not stated SR makes sense in finding causes though.
It actually does not find physical cause for anything.
It merely predicts stuff and it will have problems if anything
that moves close to light speed comes upon things
that are not moving close to light speed.
SR if continued to be worshipped when humans get into
space at high speeds will only cause the same type
problems that trains had with clock malfunctions long ago.
