Suit yourself.
Unless you did not notice, the mechanism which generates the deviation
from a perfect sphere also conditions the motion of the component
fractured plates that sit atop the molten mantle.
Replacing a stationary Earth/convection cells heat mechanism with the
dynamics of a rotating molten mantle allows better working principles
for determining the composition of the mantle and how and where
differential bands sheer in causing the deviation across the Equator
and towards the poles among other things.
The list of influences you provide refers solely to the Earth's shape
and nothing towards the motion of the component plates.I apologise, as
I get a lot of guesswork surrounding how the Earth's shape links in
with geological evolution of tectonic surface features as a continuing
dynamic.
If others do not grasp the outlines of the linkage and the value of
the insight there is nothing I can do about it .The ability to talk
away a good point of departure is just one of those things that mark
our era as extremely difficult to accomplish anything.
