| Ah, so if a law of physics works fine on Earth but it doesn't work fine
| for stars or comets, that's fine, because it's the Earth frame that
| matters.

What?
the phyics I am talking about work fine everywhere.
It is your silly time dilation that has problems with
the Earth based measurements that stars and comets
are following fine.
(Try using time dilation factors to fly in space at
speeds close to light and you will be history real quick.)

clock was counting the correct rate of time..)

| The universe has *always* had an invariant interval that does not
| depend on observer, and the laws of physics all make use of that
| invariant interval.

What invariant interval is that?

| However, when we first guessed at the things that do not depend on the
| observer, we assumed that they were 3D distance and time, and we
| guessed that physical laws depend on the 3D distance and on time.
| We guessed wrong. We've since fixed that. Some people can't let go of
| their childhood blankies, though.

You have fixed it?
LOL
you have only made definitions fit instead of finding
the true "why".
LOL
curved straight lines, and meters based upon speeds,
and speeds causing time rate changes and length changes.

I know why aliens have not landed and talked to all yet!
They are still laughing too hard..
