Newton alternative?

I run accross these laws of motion:

I find the law of inertia and law of interaction (action-reaction)
interesting. I used these laws in obtaining the differential equations
of motion for a number of problems.
I'm trying to figure out whether there is some empirical evidence that
can dispute their validity.
