Re: Euclids postulates and non-Euclidean geometry

You are an adult. Talk like one.

The fact that you are fighting a very valid and useful geometry just
shows me that you have no interest in understanding math and how it
applies to this world.

I am not "fighting" it.
I am pointing out that there is a shorter distance than your shorter path.
and there are no rules that you have to follow spherical geometry in the
universe.

You are MISSING THE POINT. Try broadening your horizons and stop acting
like a fucking inbred moron.

The most obvious use of spherical geometry is plotting paths for
aircraft. What is the most fuel-efficient route between two cities?
Sure, you can say "a tunnel through the ground" and you will be
rightfully called an idiot. Airplanes have to travel on what is
approximately a sphere, so the most fuel-efficient course is the one
that has the smallest travel time.

On a non-Euclidian surface/space, the shortest path between two points
is called a geodesic. On a sphere, examples of those lines are the
lines of longitude and latitude.

Do you know any surveyors? Ask them how spherical geometry relates to
the world. Try not to laugh in the surveyor's face.

I will ask them if they can't make tunnels because of your spherical
geometry
rules and they will laugh all right..
LOL.

You are AGAIN missing the point. Your dumb ass attitude towards
everything you do not understand blinds you to the immense utility of
the tools at hand.

Reading what you write is painful.

Ohh, maybe the brainwashing is starting to break.

No. You write like a child, and you have the insight of an infant.
Meaningful communication with you is next to impossible beacuse you
have neither the background nor desire to understand what you are being
told.

Do you understand what shortest distance means yet?
Or are you still stuck on geodesics and a shortest path instead?

You have no magic insight. You are not Gauss, Maxwell, Einstein, or any
other important scientist. You have neither their knowledge or
aptitude. You are just a mechanic, and that is by choice. You refuse to
broaden your horizons and educate yourself, so you will forever remain
a mechanic.

Every time you *** all over several centuries worth of mathematics,
you are being laughed at. Nobody agrees with you, people just think you
are stupid.
