its 1/6 the wieght NOT 1/6 the speed.
a = F/m
Objects on the moon will experience 1/6 the acceleration they
experience on earth since they experience 1/6 the force.
v = at
At any given time t, the speed v will be 1/6 the speed at
t seconds of fall on earth since the object experiences 1/6
the acceleration.
