If light is consist of photon then
why we are not hurt by a ray of light.Though
photon is very tiny but it has very high
speed. When a photon strikes anyone obviously
we should feel the sensation.
Why? What are the properties of something that impinges
on your body that makes it perceptible? For example,
what is the difference between a pea striking you
at 30 km/hour and a car striking you at the same speed?
But in reality
why this is not so. We are often told that light
has both particle and wave nature. If
any kind of light has particle nature then
a ray of Torch Light should be able to hurt anyone. Why not !!!!
What do you suppose would make particles more dangerous
than waves?
