Also heat should also have an effect on longevity. As heat stimulates
the atoms, and increases their energy.

"Increased expression of the small HSP proteins in the motoneurons of
Drosophila has increased lifespan by 15% when expressed in the
cytoplasm (Hsp23) and 30% when expressed in mitochondria (Hsp22).
Despite the fact that expression was limited to motoneurons, the flies
showed an increase in resistance to oxidative injuries by paraquat of
up to 35% [THE FASEB JOURNAL; Morrow,G; 18(3):598-599 (2004)]. The
longevity effect of small HSPs may be due to their ability to prevent
toxic aggregations of proteins. Heat-shock protein response is reduced
in aging cells and is elevated in the cells of CRAN (Caloric
Restriction with Adequate Nutrition) organisms -- leading to suspicions
that CRAN may function partially by altering genetic switches."


So yes, it is all adding up. Essentially studies have shown that some
heat shock creates longevity in fruit flies and such and as yet they
don't appear to see the connection, between the increase in energy, and
the stabilizing of the oxygen atoms.
They are attributing it to stronger proteins.
