Hi T.J., These are the prices I see today, May 3rd:
_ Pure copper: $ 2.10 a pound,
_ Scrap copper, e.g. pipe and wire: $ 1.30 to $ 1.80 a pound
_ Pure aluminum: $ 1.05.
_ Scrap aluminum, e.g. siding: $ .45 to .65

So I'll make offers to buy:
_ Pure copper: $ 1.60 a pound, $ 3,528 a metric tonne.
_ Scrap copper: $ 1.10
_ Pure aluminum: $ .55 a pound, $ 1,212 a metric tonne.
_ Scrap aluminum: $ .25
What about the _Quality_ of the scrap ?
