When I called his mother, she expressed skepticism that an impact at 25
mph would cause much injury or damage. It seems to me that she's wrong,
that in fact there are significant forces involved at that speed.
Just explain to her that a 25mph rear-end collision is much like
dropping the car onto its rear end from a height of 21 feet...
