In American English there is only one way "bra" is pronounced:
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=bra
Context determines which meaning is intended.
You link offers no indication that this dictionary has
any knowledge of the word used a bra-ket in QM
so it offers no information on this.
But thanks to you trying and the other responder for
offering evidence from at least one physics professor.
It seems that no one would be surprised to here it as
you suggest.
