Nonrenormalization vs Renormalization 56: Big Bang Moves To Infinity To Zero As Time --> Infinity

From Osher Doctorow mdoctorow@xxxxxxxxxxx

We consider the model:

1) P(A-->B) = t = 1 + y - x

from the previous few sections of this thread. When t = 0, then since
0 < = y < = x < = 1 or for n > 1 the same is true for yi replacing y
and xi replacing x, i = 1 to n, and then in (1) y is replaced by the
arithmetic mean of its components (y1, y2, ..., yn) and similarly for
x, it follows that the only solution is x = 1 or xi = 1 for all i = 1
to n and y = 0 or yi = 0 for all i = 1 to n. In words, referring only
to the scalar case of x and y for simplicity:

2) P(A-->B) = t = 0 iff x = 1 and y = 0 (the "Big Bang" or its
(Probable) Cause x is at infinity but the (Probably Caused) Universe y
is at the origin 0)

Similarly, when t = 1, we get from (1): 1 = 1 + y - x so y - x = 0 so y
= x and this time the Big Bang x can be taken at x = y = 0 (the origin)
although it could also be taken at any intermediate value between 0 and
1 as long as x = y. The simplest interpretation is for y to be a
fixed point, in which case we have formally:

3) P(A-->B) = t = 1 for y a fixed point in (1) iff x = 0 = y (the "Big
Crunch" is at the origin, where the Universe also is).

Since we expect a Singularity at the Big Bang, (2) could be a way of
formulating the fact that the Universe, always taken at the origin in
its own framework, undergoes a "split" (Singular) influence from
infinity at the Big Bang.

Likewise, the equation (3) says that in infinite time, the Universe
(still at the origin in its own framework) "experiences" the Big Bang
as an internal influence located at its own position rather than as an
external influence located elsewhere (at infinity).

In a sense, Knowledge/Semantic Information is the internalization of
(Probable) Causation, while Chaos/Syntactic Information/Entropy
(Disorder) is the externalization of (Probable) Causation.
