News reports say that zarqawi did not die instantly from the two 500

Certainly the 2nd bomb's shockwave would have killed him..

I am simply pleased that the last thing he saw as his heart beat the last
time and he tried vainly to roll off the stretcher was an American soldier
in uniform.
Are you sure? Seems that the report had him dealt with locally only
by Iraqi's.
Tom, do you really think that a man in close proximity to the
detonation of 1000 pounds of explosives (as close as within the
building they hit) could come out of it with only superficial facial
damage?
