Why there must be matter, how about just energy?

Physicists have spent so long time to detect "dark matter", but the
result is disillusionary. Why there must be matter, and how about just
energy?
In fact, I have been afflicted by this idea for a much long time. Maybe
regarding the world as consisting of "energy particles" is more
logical. Here the word "energy particles" means high density of energy.
In fact, my opnion is that the world is made of energy instead of
matter.
There are basically two states of energy in the world, disperse and
collect. The first is more familiar to us, all kinds of energy we
define today are all disperse energy. The collect energy is energy in
high density, they form all kinds of matters which we have always
regarded as consisting of matter particles.
If we look at the world in this way, many physical theories can be
explained in a much more concise and pretty way. Such as Einstein's
E=mc2, now it's only the transport of energy between different states.
Another example is fields. Scientists have made great efforts to make
themselves as well as others believe that field is some kind of
substance. Although we all believe this firmly, but it is still a
little awkward to think so. But if the world is in fact made of energy,
the field is much easier to understand. It is only one kind of disperse
energy, the same as mechanic energy.
Maybe photons is a perfect example to understand this. For years,
scientists have tried to explain "exist" as substance. But photon is
photon, it's high energy particle.
There is gravity between energy. So there is need to difine some kind
of matter.
How about all kinds of forces? Are they the same in nature? I have an
immature explaination in me mind. That is all energy transports or
switches through forces.
