Because of the high gain of the antennas, they had to track the moon
to receive the signals. The signals could not have come from anywhere
but the moon.
Because the well known and obvious effects of reflecting signals off
of the moon were absent, the transitters had to have been on the moon.
The interesting thing about the hoax supporters is that they do
not have a consistent view as to what they claim actually
happened. This is because any such theory falls apart as
soon as you look at it in any detail - as above.
