JoeT see's only what he wants to see. He will never be persuaded as he
doesn't understand the opposing argument. He's just another member of
that group who feels that because the Universe does not behave
according to the way they think it does, everything is wrong.
He's never been able to answer why none of his theories is ever
vindicated in the slightest by experiment.
Well, he doesn't feel he has to. He imagines that science is like a
throne, and that at one time there was a Good King, and then there was
a Usurper. He views his neutrino "explanation" to be of the same
lineage as the Good King and so has proper rights to the throne by
default, because the Usurper has not demonstrated that the Good King
was not so Good.
His idea that a new theory has to demonstrate that the old theory was
completely wrong is ... well, wrong.

At the risk of derailment ;-) - it always amazes me that some people
feel the Universe has to conform to their specifications. Being such a
small part of it, I guess our wants and needs are pretty trivial ;)

Jaffa cakes. Sweet delicious orange jaffa goodness, and an abject lesson
why parroting information from the web will not teach you cosmology.
