You write such a long post and endeavor to describe what a photon looks
like. Yet you fail.
I think it depends on how we look at it. sometimes it will look like a
point particle, which it may or may not be. Other times it looks like
an electromagnetic wave.
It depends upon the utility of the situation. There is no definite
snapshot of a photon, speaking of course in a visual sense. It can of
course be described with rigorous math in terms of other things. That
doesn't really tell us how the *** looks though.
