Light can not be source of energy. I wonder why insects are attracted
to light. I searched net and found that reason is not yet understood.
Moon.
Stars and planets.
Is it so that these insects were trying to catch sun in
those days?
They weren't of course consciously trying anything.
Apparently in the course of evolution, it was somehow
favourable to stay in the air for as long as possible.
If following a 'light' helps keep you in the air, then
that's okay.
And I have heard that some insects directly fly in candle flames to
die! What the hell this is?
Well, they think that by now, in the modern world,
candles are replaced with cold LEDs, so they think
they can fly into them safely. But insects are stupid.
