It is a matter of definition. Take a large box with a true vacuum inside.
You define it as containing ABSOLUTLY nothing. Now you step inside with a
flashlight (turned on) and a magnet. Now define the space inside the box. Or
better yet, stand outside of a Glass box with a vacuum inside it and point
the light from the middle of one face towards the middle of the opposite
face. Will the light pass through it? once the beam is inside the box is the
space still defined as a vacuum? Please don't tell me you are fishing for an
aether. If so, then I have a few kilos of phlogiston I would like to sell to
you.Will E.

Guys,
Can anyone explain me how magnetic fields can exist in vacuum? For
example Earth's magnetic field exists in near vacuum around the earth..
do fields really not need anything to exist? Justify please..
Bye,
Prasanth.
