Re: How do the cabins get shipped ?

The penthouse is one pice and the two cabins below are 170 sq ft I think
,,boath shiped as singles. 3 big boxes.
By the time the hull is ready another week they will be there.
They are biult in hk like parts may be a picture as evry part of the
abin or penthouse was picked out by image . The penthouse you get is
evrything in the image.
with exsact demetions or OFF THE shelf the lower cabins are ,,the
penthouse was downsized to 22 x 60 from 28 x 62 or somthing like that
and the had to move the windows to use portholes. The yard can put the
penthouse and cabins in and the top with the pilot house back on in a
few days.
Its like getting a modular house without the siding and it will slide
into place via crane .
All the spray *** on the outside will get done first and the engine
room done .
The stack came off with the deck and the wheelhouse . a flange for
bolts was added.
They sit a magdrill on the edge and drill ,, they put the top on.
The looked at the penthouse and te tugs mesured draft details and made
pc adjustments to an order . They pick assembed componnets and fit them
in the penhouse real quick.
They biuld it ,,put it on a ship and its installed as a pallet.
