One of the most perplexing questions; "is life predetermined, or chaotic".life
If not predetermined, why do people keep repeating similar obstacles in
(often "of the heart"..where intelligence is no escape route)....over
After years of study of "things spiritual", I came across my first
reference to quantum mechanics, and my immediate response was " yet more
conformation of our individual journey". That has only been reinforced
subseqent years.
The gist.
The road to individualisation is predetermined,
26 ... according to the spirit which they listed to obey, whether it be a
good spirit or a bad one.
27 For every man receiveth wages of him whom he listeth to obey, and this
according to the words of the spirit of prophecy; therefore let it be
according to the truth.
(Book of Mormon | Alma 3:26 - 27)
39 And it must needs be that the devil should tempt the children of men, or
they could not be agents unto themselves; for if they never should have
bitter they could not know the sweet?
(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 29:39)
just as the interaction of a
"group" of atoms is, whereby one atom is totally random.
Maurice Allais (About the Aether Concept, 2003):
Nature doesn't leave any room to chance and all is determined by cause
and effect relationships. What's called hazard is nothing but a
representation of our ignorance. But the permanent nature of the statistical
laws shows the existence of a hidden order.
Maurice Allais (About the Aether Concept, 2003):
Atoms, particles, photons are but (local) singularities of the aether
which remain to be explained by differential equations.
Journal of Discourses, Vol.7, Pg.2, Brigham Young, July 3, 1859:
If people understood true philosophy--eternal philosophy, they would
understand that there is an eternity of matter. Astronomers estimate that
there is between us and the nearest fixed star matter enough from which to
organize millions of earths like this. There is an eternity of matter, and
it is all acted upon and filled with a portion of divinity. Matter is to
exist; it cannot be annihilated. Eternity is without bounds, and is filled
with matter; and there is no such place as empty space.
14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning
craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
(New Testament | Ephesians 4:14)

The parallel being, we are each a "random atom", learning to break awayfrom
the predictability of the group via predictable situations.
Another anaolgy that grabbed me was that of the damage caused by a free
radical to the status quo.
KAPOWWWWW ;-)....
