Indonesia anti-Bush rallies pick up steam

"the cost and trouble of security preparations for the visit, including
building helicopter pads in a Bogor botanical garden and plans to lock down
much of the town during and ahead of the visit.

The U.S. ambassador to Indonesia, Lynn Pascoe, has said the need for
security reflects the reality that "there are lots of crazy people in the
world out there, (who) will do crazy things"."

=====================
End quote.

Ambassador Pascoe makes a good point!

What could be crazier,
than for the maximum leader of the
most trusted and respected nation on Earth

to unilateral wage a needless war on a small nation,
and kill and maim hundreds of thousands of human beings,
and cost every family in the aggressor nation,
tens of thousands of dollars,

and destroy the trust and respect
that the world had for the aggressor nation?

What could be crazier?????

As Ambassador Pascoe points out
sometimes crazy people manage to occupy powerful offices,
and do very crazy things.

Not since the days of the Roman Empire,
has the leader of a powerful nation
been so egotistical, arrogant, unstable, and "crazy"
as George Bush.

Have you noticed how your beloved Democrats have become nothing but
conciliatory now that the election is over and they have won control of
the Congress. Talk of impeaching Bush and making radical changes from
the way Republicans did things are now all out the window as
politicians seek to fit in and to pursue the interests of their own
political careers. I don't see any moves coming soon to end the war by
the Democrats as they are now show their eagerness to compromise and
accommodate the administration and take their place in the overall
power structure. Ralph Nader is right, you know. There is really only
one political party in this country!

Just like in your country, Potter.
