Indonesia anti-Bush rallies pick up steam
"the cost and trouble of security preparations for the visit,
including
building helicopter pads in a Bogor botanical garden and plans to
lock
down
much of the town during and ahead of the visit.
The U.S. ambassador to Indonesia, Lynn Pascoe, has said the need for
security reflects the reality that "there are lots of crazy people in
the
world out there, (who) will do crazy things"."
=====================
End quote.
Ambassador Pascoe makes a good point!
What could be crazier,
than for the maximum leader of the
most trusted and respected nation on Earth
to unilateral wage a needless war on a small nation,
and kill and maim hundreds of thousands of human beings,
and cost every family in the aggressor nation,
tens of thousands of dollars,
and destroy the trust and respect
that the world had for the aggressor nation?
What could be crazier?????
As Ambassador Pascoe points out
sometimes crazy people manage to occupy powerful offices,
and do very crazy things.
Not since the days of the Roman Empire,
has the leader of a powerful nation
been so egotistical, arrogant, unstable, and "crazy"
as George Bush.

Have you noticed how your beloved Democrats have become nothing but
conciliatory now that the election is over and they have won control
of
the Congress. Talk of impeaching Bush and making radical changes from
the way Republicans did things are now all out the window as
politicians seek to fit in and to pursue the interests of their own
political careers. I don't see any moves coming soon to end the war
by
the Democrats as they are now show their eagerness to compromise and
accommodate the administration and take their place in the overall
power structure. Ralph Nader is right, you know. There is really
only
one political party in this country!
Just like in your country, Potter.
It is interesting to see that Double-A
equates criticism of George Bush to being a Democrat.
As can be seen,
from my numerous posts to the newsgroups,
I am an ex-entrepreneur and free market advocate,
who supported Republicans and George Bush,
BEFORE Bush got into office and showed that
he had, like most national politicians,
sold out to the Jewish Lobby.
Double-A (And Ralph Nader) do make a good point
when they point out that both
Democrats and Republicans at the national level,
are owned by the Jewish Lobby,
and are pretty much alike,
except for the rhetoric.
As Philip, Alexander the Great's father said:
"No city walls are so secure
that they cannot be breached,
if you can get a donkey load of gold
up to the city gates."
As can be seen,
both Democrats and Republicans at the national level,
sell out for a few donkey loads of gold,
and the American taxpayers pay an enormous price
in lives, limbs, loss of freedoms,
and thousands of donkey loads of gold.
It appears that the greatest return one can get on an investment
is to buy the national leaders in rich nations,
and in nations that have rich resources.
As I have posted,
the best way to obtain a non-corruptible, democratic government
is to select Representatives randomly
from all of a nation's citizens,
and have the Representatives, in turn,
select a group of people to head up the
various departments such as Defense, State, etc.
who in turn could assign one of their members to be
the dictator ("The decider") for short periods
in times of REAL emergencies.
And to sell the seats in the Senate
to the highest bidder,
in order to give voice to the
long term movers and shakers in the society.
The American government is controlled by
the Jewish Lobby and other religious and special
interests, and NOT by the American citizens.
Speaking of Ralph Nader,
he did General Motors, America, conservation, and the environment
a great injustice, with his book "Unsafe at any speed",
that attacked the Corvair, which was paving the way to:
1. Protecting the American auto market from Japanese cars.
2. Conservation of oil, steel, etc.
3. Less pollution.
Nader also did America a great harm by
allowing Bush to become president,
and this has been America's greatest tragedy,
short of the Civil War.

The flaw in your proposed system of government is that if the Jewish
Lobby has had the cash to buy up all the politicians now, they would
certainly have a lock on the Senate under your proposed system!
But what the hey, why not sell the Presidency to the highest bidder
too?
Regarding Double-A's assertion:
"the Jewish Lobby has the cash to buy up all the politicians now",
the Jewish Lobby does not have
"the cash to buy up all the politicians now."
They do have enough cash to buy enough
crooked politicians, and they do have enough media presence
to intimidate enough politicians, to the extent that they
can impose their agenda upon the masses,
whom are in sort of a "democratic balance".
In other words, the social forces
tend to force political, social and economic systems
into the root, mean-squared, desires of the masses.
The Jewish Lobby, and other self-serving groups,
capitalize on this, and only have to buy a few
dishonest and venerable politicians in order to
impose their agenda upon the masses.
1. If the Representatives were selected RANDOMLY
from all of the people, the House of Representatives
would be TRULY democratic, and this would
eliminate the influence of money and media in
selecting the people's representatives.
2. The purpose of the Senate
is to give voice to the movers and shakers in society,
and to give them the stability and confidence
they need to promote costly, long term projects,
thus the seats in the Senate should be sold to the highest bidder,
NO MATTER WHAT their race, religion, color or nationality is,
as the domain of the elite extends over the whole world.
As I have posted, at the current time,
only the Jewish Lobby is allowed to buy politicians.
As can be seen, when China, or anyone else tries this,
they are roundly attacked by the media,
and the existing politicians.
The system should be opened so that all
races, religions, nations, companies, organizations, etc.
can bid on, and buy, a few Senators.
This would bring the system into the open,
allow others than the Jewish Lobby to get
in on the act, and the money paid for these seats
would go into the general fund,
rather than be wasted "Swiftboating and "Mel Gibsoning".,
and stirring up hate and division.
3. The people that end up in the Senate
would be people like Ted Turner, Henry Ford, Edison,
Bill Gates, etc. who have made their mark in the free market,
and would like to impose some of their philosophy on the world.
The Senators would know what qualities are need in
a good executive, and the Senate would have the power
to select people to be presented to the Representatives
for their approval to head the various offices, such
as Defense, State, Agriculture, Environment, Energy, etc.
4. In times of REAL crisis, as determined by a 2/3 vote
in the House of Representatives, the heads of the departments
would select ONE of their members to be Dictator for one year.
Rome did this when they were a Republic, and it worked very well,
as it allowed them to become the masters of all of Europe.
Regarding Double-A's question:
"why not sell the Presidency to the highest bidder too?",
this would open up the opportunity for small groups,
such as the Jewish Lobby, to pool their resources,
and buy the President, and people like Bush and Lieberman
would end up in these offices.
Under my system,
the people (Senators) who recognize executive material
would select it, and the people's Representatives
would approve or disapprove in order to allow the
will of the masses to have a veto in the matter.
As can be seen, the present system
is not only NOT democratic,
it greatly benefits the people who own media.
The media not only profits
from the fact that the contending social forces
have to waste enormous amounts of money buying media
in order to have a voice,
they are able to use media to brainwash
the masses to their agenda and
to intimidate politicians.
