Sorry, maybe something changed while I wasn't looking, but it looks like the dollar is falling versus the yuan after all.

I'd still say to invest in a mutual fund that invests internationally and maximizes return in whatever currency you'll be spending. If you'd have bought yuan a year ago, you'd have gotten a 3% return by now. The stock market historically averages around 11%, and even CDs are going for near 5%.
