Hi, I'm a 17 year old girl doing advanced physics in school. I am
required to do a project and have chosen HeNe laser diffraction through
single slit, double slit and multiple grating. I was wondering if anyone
could give me a source of information on the basic theory behind this,
sinΘ = nλ/d, sinΘ= nλ , web pages or books that i
could get a hold of. Thanks for any help you can give me

Shine the laser through thin stretched cloth (e.g., handkerchiefs) of
different weaves. What happens to the pattern if you stretch more in
one direction? Cf: reciprocal space.
