Did the nominations get in?
If not, I suppose Heisenberg's name will still be in the list of Nobel
Laureates next year and yours won't. But at least your friends here
will know that you deserved to win.
Only 365 days to go until nominations close for the 2008 Nobel Prizes.
Get cracking.

Actually Pete, I've just been reading the good professor. "The
physical principles of the quantum theory" Dover 1949, an unabridged
and unaltered reproduction of the work first published in 1930 by the
UNiversity of Chicago.
But that was before Heisenberg won his Nobel Prize. As you have proved
him wrong and have now found evidence predating 1942 to that effect
you would have been a shoo-in not only for the 2007 Nobel but to have
Heisenberg's Nobel retracted.
It's a pity you missed the cut-off date.
In a chapter titled "Introduction: Theory
and
Experiment", he mentions special relativity in regard to the fact
that
experiment showed that signals did NOT propagate instantaneously.
Hence we come full circle. We are at a point in scientific hostory
when we are experimentally demonstrating that the mass of the photon
is not zero, but a finite measurable amount that is commensurate with
theory..
I'm thinking that this will make a good introduction for the paper
I'm
writing on the self-field theory's analytic expressions for the mass
of the photon that are very close to one another, and that agree with
PDG's experimental observations.

363 days left to get in the race for the 2008 Nobel Prizes. Keep
working at it.

Pete, you realise that the meeting in Paris about Climate change and
man's current technology means that we humans are facing a catastrophe
of our own making. If there is something that might enable man to
overcome his own induced fossil-fueled problems then there is no time
to lose, no time to be cynical, to be skeptical, to be hardheaded. We
need to ACT, to TRY, to perhaps OVERCOME our problems. There is no
time for vainglorious prizes. If there is something that can help man
overcome his energy production problems, we must give it a go, my
friend. Think about it, seriously.
You're my hero. I want you to have the recognition you deserve. Think
of what you could do with the money, and how big an audience you could
reach through shows like Oprah if only you had a Nobel Prize to open
the doors.
Don't be negative about your achievements. If you can save the world
from the coming catastrophe.
Turning and turning in the widening gyre

Things fall apart; the center cannot hold; ...
(William Butler Yeats, "The Second Coming")
Don't let us fall apart. Save us.

Seewww.unifiedphysics.comandcheck out all the various pages. The
mathematics goes 'beyond quantum', and is based on self-field theory
(a
la Abraham and Lorentz 1903-1904). The primary paper has been
published in physics essays 2005 vol 3. This paper uses a modified
form of EM theory based on electric and magnetic fields that are
measured between centres of motion rather than between charge points.
It solves the Maxwell-Lorentz equations for the hydrogen atom as an
eigenvalue problem rather than an infinite termed quantum field
problem. This method gives analytic solutions and leads to many new
insights: no new physics, only a clearer method for solving atomic
structures.
There are many other applications including a mathematical procedure
for solving nuclear regions; this method is similar to the solving of
the Maxwell-Lorentz equations for the EM regions but uses modified
maxwellian equations for use in other fields. A picture of the gluon
emerges. We can explore how hydrogen fusion might be able to be
achieved using EM and sonar power combined.
Tony Fleming PhD.
Pete Danny, anytime you want to critique the maths I'm here.
I don't know why I can't get my point across.
I don't want to "critique the maths". As far as I can see the maths is
(are?) perfect. You are right. Why do you seem to lack the
self-confidence necessary to believe in yourself. You should follow
the examples set by James Harris and George Hammond who both know that
they are right but misunderstood.
You are right, others are wrong. Get used to it.

Maybe you should talk to Werner Heisneberg about any "Final Solution"
Don. After all he was the one who wanted to give Adolf the atomic
bomb!! And besides his one-point model of the photon is correct as
'everyone' knows.
