FireFox's " RefreshBlocker " and " Tab Mix Plus "

Hi Edward_Green, You use FireFox, I see.
There's an extension called " RefreshBlocker "
that might ( or might not ) help you, see:

www.VakuumVerPackt.DE/refreshblocker

You can configure it to effect only Google.COM, if you want.
" Tab Mix Plus " is another great extension:

Also, there's an extension that removes all ads from Google,
but I don't use it because my userContent.CSS handles all that for me, e.g.:
