Why don't you tell us that story again about all of the corporations
here being scams.

http://www.gammamanager.com

I know nothing of this corporation directly. These claim
"several kilowatts over unity". The FAQ isn't all that
informative as to the actual technology involved, but
merely answers such questions as order delivery and return
on investment. They are based in Budapest, Hungary.

A Google scan coughed up "Gutmann's Anti-gravity Rotor" and
some Cyrillic-based websites. Since antigravity is clearly
impossible [*] I'm not sure they're competent, scientifically.

My rating: Suspicious.

http://www.terawatt.com

"Terawatt aims to access the energy mix and gain a
market positioning by differentiating itself as a new
way of generating electricity, harnessing the kinetic
energy of a self compensating mechanical impulse.
Terawatts's technology does not rely on any inputs such
as fuels or renewable sources of energy."

It appears they are based somewhere in the US.

when asked regarding a company overview. While this is
somewhat legitimate regarding a privately-held concern,
it strikes me as somewhat less than polite -- and
also somewhat less than totally competent. However,
that may be a reflection of their consultancy, not
of the corporation proper.

The site claims 60 TW would be required to achieve
parity amongst everyone wordwide. The current
electrical consumption rate is just less than 2 TW, or,
as the CIA Factbook puts it, 16.18 trillion kWh/year.
https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/xx.html#Econ

Because of an unfortunate name a Google scan for this
corporation does not appear possible. "Self-compensating
mechanical impulses" are not possible (self-compensating
impulses of any sort are impossible, except under
conditions of zero resistance and/or additional power
input; the more generic term is "oscillation").

Rating: Suspicious.

http://www.perendev-power.com

"Under Construction". Of note:

Our new Auto pack designed to replace existing combustion
engines. Coupled to a 100kw alternator then to an electric motor
will give outstanding performance with out any emissions.

The website generated a number of popups for screensavers.
They appear to be based somewhere in Germany.

A Google scan coughed up "Perendev's Magnetic Motor".
http://www.fdp.nu/perendev/default.asp is an attempt,
a bit mangled, at explaining some of the issues with
this device. Since the general idea is vaguely similar
to http://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/museum/unwork.htm#cheng
albeit with button magnets, I am far from certain that this
affair will do anything horribly interesting, but there is
the possibility of some energy extraction from the magnets
themselves -- until the magnets demagnetize, of course.
The amount of energy in a magnet, however, cannot exceed
that of an equivalently-sized fuel capsule, explosive
pellet, or charcoal briquet, for hopefully obvious reasons.

Rating: Suspicious.

http://www.knfp.net

This took me to what appears to be a South Korean affair.
The English webpage pointed me at something called National Fusion
Research Center and a device named KSTAR. The last entry was
February 2006 with a claim of 91% progress towards completion.

The website has some irritating quirks, and the font looked
very odd (though not unreadable) on my system. (The style
sheet used a font-family which was far from obvious.)
However, the actual notion is legit enough; this appears
not to be a PPM device, but rather a research effort on
sustainable fusion similar to ITER. (It may very well
have been a competitor to ITER.)

Rating: Legitimate Research.

http://www.steorn.com

"Orbo is the brand name of our free energy
technology. Orbo is a technology that produces free,
clean and constant energy. It can be applied to power
products ranging from portable music players to cars."

The details will be made available at the end of Q1 2007.
It is far from clear whether this is calendar or fiscal.

Rating: No data/pending, but I'm not all that hopeful.

Where is that "body of evidence" you was talking about?

Not sure any of these are scams as such, though most
appear self-delusional. Nor is this post evidence, merely
a set of my observations.

[*] the current characterization of gravity is a warpage
of space. Materials such as "Cavorite" are therefore
unmanufacturable.
