If you want to discuss physics then do so and be welcome.

Perhaps better that I lurk.

That's up to you.

Really, my vague recollection of high school Physics is not up to
contributing much, but I do find some of the discussions interesting.

If not, *** off or I shall plonk you.

Hahaha... *Trembles*

It's not a threat, Dobby, no hard feelings.
I'm simply not interested in hearing about your flame war,
which seems to be your main pre-occupation.

That's because it's not interesting. It's meant to be uncomfortable for
whom it is aimed at. It is that. It's not my main preoccupation, it's a
means to an end. The forum that I came from was infested with trolls. I
turned the heat up on them and they withered away. You're just seeing the
last vestiges of them.

If a muggle has you that rattled he's achieved his purpose.

Nah, very little of it bothers me; they think it does, yet I don't get any
weaker, regardless of what they do. All they're doing is burning themselves
out, as I laugh at them.

The gentle art of flaming one's opponents is best achieved from a
solid knowledge base.

That's why I mostly hang around forums where the discussions revolve around
subjects I'm knowledgable about. I allowed myself to be drawn into an area
in which I was less knowledgeable, just this once. I don't make a habit of
it.

I've been flaming muggles since
1999, it upsets only them. Fire breathing dragons have no
power over me, I am impervious to their shenanigans.
"Water off a duck's back", as you might say.
If you can't stand the heat get back to the kitchen,
that is where house elves are employed at Hogwarts.

The heat is ok. It doesn't bother me.
