Does Fearless have .75 inches of gelcoat ?

Hi T.J., Speaking of Fearless Johnny's " Seattle to Hong Kong " trip
( when you didn't visit me ), You wrote something like:
" I put the pilot house 3 feet off the water lots of times.
Leaving Seattle, I had 60 mph N.W. winds,
40 foot waves at the breakers, 30 at sea.
That first 180 miles took 18 hours. "
Could you safely sleep during that time ?
You noted, " A normal engine would've puked. ".
Not good, as Fearless now has a " normal engine ".
You added:
" The aluminum deckhouse on that steel hull
makes for a very low center of gravity
and a lot of mass low made a fucking Weeble out of Fearless. "
Cool, like " www.SuburbanAmerican.COM/WeebleSuperHero.jpg ".
Ah, now that's good news, a roll-over does not sound like fun to me.
With no experience, I'd panic first, then ***-up badly.
You continued:
" I dumped money in a nuke-safe chemical-test tug
because the fucker was overbuilt for the land of oz.
You can't roll Fearless, it won't go.
It's a fucking buoy with no top load.
Removed 90 top-side tons, replacing it with 30.
Then added 60 down low.
Had it airboarn off the waves,
the SSVRs didn't quit, over-reving them didn't matter.
The mast went before the first day ended.
2 inches of water was 2 feet when it hit the bulkhead
and tried climbing it.
The inside was a mess
but the toilets had no *** in the tank so it wasn't stinky.
yacht toilets were a mistake. yacht sink traps too. "
Where you pissing off the rail... and shitting there too ?
You added:
" Once I got past the storm it was rough 1 day
till I got in a glass patch going west
and went like a rapped ape for 3 days and was in HK.
In 5 foot seas, it's a 300 ton speed boat.
Nothing could pass it in 5 foot seas.
off-shore racers couldn't pass it in 5 to 10 foot seas.
A yacht wouldn't have made it past the breakers.
I could've abandoned it at any time. always ready to jump ship. ".
When is it a good idea to " jump ship " ? when it's sinking ?
You added:
" I had a fucking blast.
It was like a hot rod on an open road and not a cop in sight
while you mash it to the floor. "
Yea but Fearless now has super-slow ( 10 knot ) engines,
it'd take an eternity to cross the Pacific.
You continued:
" Fearless has a video to prove it's not just a yacht,
it's one tough motherfucker. ".
Then show it to us, Why don't you ?
You added:
" Buckling up keeps your ass from flying around
when your going 70 or better.
I lived out of the microwave for 5 days. "
Thanks, that's what I was wondering about.
You added:
" Put the autopilot on and stuffed a pillow under my head
and sleep beside collision allarm.
I left it at 45 mph while I sept. 80 wile awake.
used 42 inches of fuel. ".
How many gallons is that ?
You concluded:
" If the hull wasn't 1 inch, and was 3/8,
it would've pounded the skin around the frame. ".
Yeah, I love that " unsinkable " nuclear-era hull,
1.03 inches of steel, 4 layers of gamma-ray-blocking gold mesh
( like you see on microwave oven doors ),
and ( I think ) .75 inches of gelcoat ( for " ear/eye candy " ).
