From Osher Doctorow
I meant helium, not elium.
I should also mention that Chiao proposes a Hertz-like experiment
which could yield for EM-g conversion observations of the
gravitational-wave analog of CMB from the extremely early Big Bang,
and also communications directly through the interior of the Earth.
In this Hertz-like experiment, EM waves are converted at the source
into g (gravitational) waves and then back-converted at the receiver
from g into Em waves, and would be practical to perform - he and his
colleagues are doing that presently according to his paper. All this
doesn't make the other part of his paper dependent on future
experiments - the part that I previously discussed has been
established by Chiao theoretically and in agreement with previous
experiments.
For those who still think that dimensional analysis is a "last
resort", Chiao also points out that Planck obtained the "Planck mass"
m_Pl by dimensional analysis.
I'll try to continue shortly.
