Why 22 gigayears ? Why can't we detect the center of gravity ?

Hi Herbie, You told Don something like:
" Universes are recycled by gravity.
Over cosmological time critical density is eventually reached,
and the cosmos implodes, forming a virtual black hole.
At some point the black hole explodes, forming a Universe like ours.
The last explosion happened 22 gigayears ago. ".
Hmm... " Pseudo-Time " would run backwards in the anti-universe,
it boggles my mind.
Why 22 gigayears ? Why can't we detect the center of gravity ?
.
