Now it has been posited, by Hawking and others, that the fabric of
space-time,
consists of a sort of quantum foam.
We know that it has certain properties, but of course its constituent
parts
are too small to be known directly.
We know, that the bubble nucleus, which has mass caused at it tries to
expand,
into this foam, is added if it accelerates horizontally through this
foam as well.
We know that this foam, will compress like a field, around massive
bodies,
like topographical lines, getting closer together as you approach a
massive body,
(the warping of space-time around massive bodies.)
We know that it gets dragged along as well, with frame dragging.
We know also about lensing, and we speculate, that you can poke a hole
in it, and hold it back, leaving a perfect vacuum, or wormhole.
We know also that EM waves can travel through it without resistance,
and even you can arrange atoms, so that you can make a superconductor,
so that waves just pass right along without resistance within a chunk
of matter.
But there is a lot we don't know.
Often we are forced to guess, and we do that using statistics,
which is what quantum theory is basically. The fine art of guessing.
However, for such things as time travel, you would need to either go
back
along the arrow of time, or forward along the arrow of time.
Although in a reference frame, atoms operate on their own time scale,
due to the factors which are affecting the expansion of the nucleus,
as it expands along with the universe, (length contraction time
dilation)
these effects are small and unnoticeable under normal conditions,
and what we perceive as time, in the world, are a series of events.
But if you were to actually go backwards in time, or forwards in time,
if you did this locally, you would age your body in one direction,
the direction of entropy.
Now it is possible to conceive of a machine capable of reversing the
atomic events in your body, to make you younger, but the arrow of
time,
as the universe expands, is not affected by this.
So to time travel, you need to get small, and you need to go back,
along the arrow of time, to where the universe is less expanded.
If, that were possible.
That is to say, that we cannot shrink the universe in the opposite
direction,
to turn back the universal clock.
So real time is going forward, as a result of the big bang, and all
these sundry
events, have their prima facie with the big bang and because of it.
Because the universal engine behind every atom, every electron, every
covalent bonding,
chemical reaction, and macro result, is that big bang, first cause.
So you would need one twice as strong to go the other way at this
point.
And you would need it to surround the universe perfectly.
So its impossible.
The universe is going forward in time.
But, does the past, still exist along that arrow of time?
Such that you could somehow, phase shift yourself, to avoid expansion,
to stop time for you, and phase shift further, to go back into
negative time.
Lets look at how that might be done....
If you were to be in close proximity to a black hole, the universe
around it,
is expanding, it is not keeping up, so either time has stopped, or you
are falling
back in time, relative to the rest of the universe.
But it doesn't do you any good, because out there, is the universe you
want to get at,
to enjoy real events, but the moment you step into the event horizon,
the universe goes forward, leaving you behind, but you haven't gone
back in time,
just been left behind in your present.
Now supposedly if you were to venture closer to the balck hole you
would be going
back in time, as it has been not expanding for a long time.
And so then, after a bit, can you get out again, and find yourself in
the universe
in the past?
And well it is supposed that you would not be able to do that, unless
you were to become
Hawking radiation and radiate out of it.
Radiation however is not those little bubbles with that intrinsic mass
that make up your body.
You would have to leave all that behind.
But what of a worm hole?
Well at that point, you are still just in an empty pocket, in the
quantum foam.
Aren't you.
Time and space and heat, all non existent in a pure vacuum.
Now regarding a wormhole, if you were to use lasers, to make Einstein
Bose
condensate, you are dampening down the vibrations in that area, then
that might make it easier with some type of winding spinning
mechanisms,
to open a hole, in the quantum foam, because acelleration moves the
foam,
as does frame dragging.
So you open a pocket in the quantum foam, how does that help you
to surpass the speed of light if you want to navigate the universe?
Well you need to not stop at that pocket, but continue to tunnel,
across, the universe, and then, if it were possible to keep that
tunnel open,
you could travel through it, exceeding the speed of light, because the
quantum
foam, would not be creating drag on your molecules, you would feel no
increased
mass.
Still what sort of propellant could you use, would it work to propel
you,
if you were not pushing on the quantum foam and using it as we do with
retrorockets in space.
Would you continue in a straight line, well the universe is expanding,
so there are no straight lines of travel over time.
Suppose you had a boring machine of sorts, then you could cut right
across,
and the trip would take less time.
But its difficult to conceptualize, the 4th dimension.
The dimension of expansion.
It is almost like falling as soon as you are not expanding.
So then you are falling, getting smaller by comparison to the
universe,
but oh oh, the other bubble nuclei are big, and yours are tiny.
And well atomic events, frequencies, physical laws, all depend on your
nuclei bubbles with mass, being the same as the rest, in the universe.
But is it possible, that the universe is made out of shells?
Is there a universe smaller than this one, just behind it by a Plank
moment?
Is it our minds, that are on this level, this shell, and a Plank
moment behind,
inside your bubble nuclei, another smaller bubble?
You see how the physical universe works quite clearly now, as a
machine,
and how the pieces fit together, but is it possible, that since a
bubble,
a nucleus, is also just a wave, and E=mc2 and matter can be converted
from a bubble wave having mass, to a plethora of EM waves ripping
through
the quantum foam as radiation, and various other forms of
electromagnetism
etc. is it possible then, to convert your mass to energy, and beam
through the quantum foam in a transporter ala Star Trek, then
reorganize
that energy into bubble nuclei again?
Well if you can do that, then what you would send, is the compressed
data,
of your complete map of bubble nuclei, in a snapshot of a state at a
point
in time, and then make it at the other end from scratch.
And the day you can do that, you can make people.
And not only people, but pretty much anything you want.
