I think that what Gisse is trying to say is
that General Relativity effects on the GPS system are so small,
compared to variations in electric and magnetic fields,
distribution of the Earth's mass, the ionosphere,
changes in the Earth's mass distribution due to earthquakes,
iceberg movement, tj frazir ship movements,
weather effects, reflections, Brownian motion, etc.
that it is stupid to use any model other than
Classical Physics to design, engineer, construct,
maintain and teach the GPS system.
Potter, with relativistic corrections, GPS accuracy is within
a few meters world wide 24/7, whereas the accuracy of GPS
without relativistic correction is greater than a kilometer.
That's three orders of magnitude!
Thank goodness the GPS system engineers
designed a closed loop system,
instead of relying on a primitive open loop
system using the General Relativity model,
as they get much better results.
And as can be seen by visiting their web sites,
the organizations that measure down to centimeters,
also avoid General Relativity.
General Relativity is basically a religion,
and an auguring system,
rather than a viable, cost-effective way
to design a system.
Note that all the people that hype General Relativity
are either on the taxpayer dole,
or gullible cultists, who are unable to see that
the Emperor has no clothes.
